What's inside every ProColor cartridge
Chips, parts, yield and safety: how each part of a ProColor cartridge compares with industry standards.

Smart chips
Chips that talk to your printer
Every ProColor cartridge carries a replacement chip that reports the cartridge model and toner level to your printer, so it is recognised on first install and page counts stay accurate.
- Programmed for each printer model and its firmware
- Accurate toner-level and page-count reporting
- Every chip checked in a printer before packing

Core parts
Drum, rollers and blades built for clean prints
Print quality depends on the parts inside the shell. ProColor cartridges use a new OPC drum, a magnetic developer roller and precision wiper and doctor blades, fitted into a sturdy housing.
- New OPC drum for sharp text and even greys
- Magnetic developer roller for consistent toner flow
- Precision blades that prevent streaks and leaks
- Toner matched to each printer model

Page yield
Yield measured the standard way
The page count printed on each ProColor box is based on the ISO method used by printer manufacturers, so you can compare costs per page fairly.
- Rated at 5% page coverage, like the OEM rating
- Toner fill matched to the rated yield
- Sample cartridges print-tested from each batch

Safety
Safe for your office and the environment
ProColor cartridges are sealed to stop spills, and the parts and toner we source are chosen to meet international safety rules for materials and handling.
- Sealed shell and pull-tab to prevent toner leaks
- Toner with a published safety data sheet (SDS)
- Materials chosen for low hazardous-substance content
